The guest house was transformed at 8:30am into a bustling office. There are at least 12 people who work here, basically to serve up to five Canadian volunteers, who stay on the upper floor (this place is probably 6,000 sqare feet). As there are only Harold and I here right now, we are getting lots of attention. My meeting with the Superintendencia de Transportes this afternoon was cancelled (which does not seem to be uncommon) so I spent the much of the day with my interpretor, Carolina, translating the key parts of the departments governing legislation into English. Tomorrow, I have a meeting with the Superintendencia and a briefing session in the afternoon.
The picture is San Miguel church just one block from here. Look at Harold's blog for more pictures.
